SCHOOL BOARD
The Board welcomes opinions and questions from visitors. As a result, the agenda for each regular meeting provides time for public expression. People who want to address the Board are asked to request to speak five days before the meeting by contacting the Board Chair at schoolboard@kingsacademylo.com. Comments are limited to five minutes and should be addressed in a Christian manner as directed by the Apostle Paul to the Ephesians in Chapter 4, verse 29: “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear”. Comments regarding individual staff members, students, or school parents are not allowed but can be addressed to the Board using the above email. Once the open forum is complete, the Board will move to an open meeting. Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting but will not comment. Once the Board moves to the executive session, all visitors are asked to leave. Executive session topics include but are not limited to personnel, student issues, or financial contractual issues.
